Sync your mParticle audiences with Vibe to retarget customers on Streaming TV.

Setting up the integration

Getting started

Before connecting Vibe as an audience destination in mParticle, you must first enable the integration in Vibe and retrieve your Advertiser ID and API Key.

To do so:

  1. Log in to your Vibe account and navigate to Settings.

  2. Select Custom Audiences.

  3. Click New Audience.

  4. Choose mParticle as your source.

  5. Select the relevant advertiser.

  6. Copy your Advertiser ID and API Key.

  7. Click on Go to mParticle.


Add the Vibe output in mParticle

  1. From your mParticle workspace, go to Setup > Outputs > Audience.

  2. Click Add Audience Output.

  3. Search for and select Vibe.

  4. Configure the output:

    • Give your output a name (e.g., "Vibe CTV").

    • Enter your API Key from Vibe.

    • Enter your Advertiser ID from Vibe.

  5. Click Save.


Create and sync an audience

Once your Vibe output is configured:

  1. In mParticle, go to Audiences (under Segmentation).

  2. Click New Audience.

  3. Choose to start from scratch or use an existing audience.

    1. If you start from scratch

      1. Give your audience a name.

      2. Select the Input (feed/source) that will populate your audience with user data.

      3. Define your audience criteria and click Create.

  4. Once the audience is created or you've chosen an existing audience, click Connect Output.

  5. Select the Vibe output you configured earlier.

  6. Click Add Connection.


Viewing your audiences in Vibe

Once an audience is connected:

  • When users enter or leave an mParticle audience, those changes are reflected in Vibe in near real time.

  • Synced audiences appear under Custom Audiences in your Vibe account.

  • You can then select these audiences directly when creating or editing your CTV campaigns.

Audience population may take several minutes to fully process depending on audience size and update frequency.


FAQ

Can I sync multiple audiences from mParticle to Vibe?

Yes. You can connect multiple audiences to your Vibe output in mParticle. Each will appear as a separate Custom Audience in your Vibe account.

How often does Vibe update my mParticle audiences?

Vibe receives updates in near real time as mParticle sends user membership changes (users entering or leaving an audience). Processing time may vary slightly depending on audience size.

Do I need to refresh or reauthenticate my API Key?

No. Your Vibe API Key does not expire unless it's manually regenerated in your Vibe account. If regenerated, you must update the new key in your mParticle output settings.

What happens if I disconnect or delete the Vibe output in mParticle?

If you disconnect or delete the output, Vibe will no longer receive audience updates. The audience will remain in Vibe but will stop syncing. You can reconnect by reconfiguring the output with your Vibe credentials.

Where can I find my synced audiences in Vibe?

In your Vibe account, go to Custom Audiences under Settings. All synced audiences from mParticle are listed there.
