Getting started
Before connecting to the Vibe Audiences (Actions) destination, you must first enable the integration in Vibe and retrieve your Advertiser ID and Vibe Token.
To do so:
Log in to your Vibe account and navigate to Settings.
Select Custom Audiences.
Click New Audience.
Choose Segment as your source.
Select the relevant advertiser.
Copy your Advertiser ID and Vibe Token.
Add the Vibe Audiences destination in Segment
From your Segment workspace, go to Connections → Catalog and select the Destinations tab.
Search for Vibe Audiences and select the destination.
Click Add Destination.
Select the Engage space you want to use as the Source. (Note: this destination only supports sending Engage Audiences to Vibe.)
Name your destination in the Settings tab.
Enter the following settings:
Advertiser ID: Your Vibe Advertiser ID
Vibe Token: Your Vibe API token
Click Save Changes.
In the Mappings tab, click New Mapping and select Sync Engage Audience to Vibe.
Go to the Settings tab and enable the destination.
Syncing audiences
Once connected:
Your Engage audiences will automatically sync from Segment to Vibe.
When users enter or leave a Segment audience, those changes are reflected in Vibe in near real time.
Synced audiences appear under Custom Audiences in your Vibe account.
You can then select these audiences directly when creating or editing your CTV campaigns.
Audience population may take several minutes to fully process depending on audience size and update frequency.
FAQ
Can I sync multiple audiences from Segment to Vibe?
Yes. You can create multiple mappings in your Segment destination to send different Engage audiences to Vibe. Each will appear as a separate Custom Audience in your Vibe account.
How often does Vibe update my Segment audiences?
Vibe receives updates in near real time as Segment sends user membership changes (users entering or leaving an audience). Processing time may vary slightly depending on audience size.
Do I need to refresh or reauthenticate my Vibe Token?
No. Your Vibe Token does not expire unless it’s manually regenerated in your Vibe account. If regenerated, you must update the new token in your Segment destination settings.
Can I use this integration with other Segment sources like Track or Identify events?
Not yet. The Vibe Audiences (Actions) destination currently supports Engage audiences only. Event-based audience triggers are planned for a future update.
What happens if a user is removed from a Segment audience?
When Segment removes a user from an audience, Vibe automatically updates your Custom Audience to exclude that user. This ensures targeting stays aligned with your current customer data.
Where can I find my synced audiences in Vibe?
In your Vibe account, go to Custom Audiences under Settings. All synced audiences from Segment are listed with the same names used in Segment.
