What are campaign recommendations?
In your Campaign Dashboard, you'll see recommendations with projected outcomes for optimizing your campaigns. These suggestions are designed to help you improve performance through actions like budget adjustments, audience expansion, or bidding strategy changes.
How are recommendations calculated?
Outcome results are based on a rolling analysis of Vibe advertiser performance over the last 6 months.
We studied how campaign changes such as budget adjustments, audience expansion, and bidding strategies correlated with outcomes like impressions, sessions, and conversions across thousands of campaigns.
Budget recommendations go one step further: the projected uplift is calculated from your own advertiser's measured price elasticity for that campaign goal, not from the cross-advertiser average. If we don't yet have a reliable elasticity for an advertiser and goal, no budget recommendation is shown for it.
How accurate are the projections?
The projected outcomes shown are estimates meant to give you an idea of possible performance improvements. Results are not guaranteed.
The Performance Forecaster
The Performance Forecaster lets you set your budget against the campaign goal main outcome. It shows how your projected outcome changes as your budget changes — so before you commit, you can see what a given budget is expected to deliver.
How to use it
Open a published campaign and edit the budget on a strategy that's ready to scale. The Forecaster appears with the budget along the bottom of the chart and the projected outcome up the side. Drag the slider: the budget field updates as you move, and the chart shows the outcome projected at that level. When you've landed on a budget you're happy with, save your modifications.
Three points are marked on the curve:
Current — the budget the strategy is running on today
Recommended — the budget we suggest (see below)
New — where your slider is sitting right now
The outcome on the vertical axis matches your campaign goal: sessions for traffic, lead and retargeting campaigns, purchases for sales campaigns, impressions for awareness campaigns.
The Recommended Budget
The Recommended point corresponds to our suggested stopping point on the same curve. We place it where we expect the strategy to keep converting extra budget into extra outcome efficiently. Push past it and the Forecaster will still project a number, but you're scaling beyond what we'd advise; pull below your current budget and you should expect to lose performance.
You're free to set any budget on the curve. The recommendation is a marker, not a limit.
When the Forecaster is available
Budgets are set per strategy, so the Forecaster works on one strategy at a time, and only on published campaigns with enough delivery history for us to see how they respond to budget changes. If a campaign has more than one strategy ready to scale, the one with the biggest projected gain is shown first.
