Frequency capping allows you to control how many times an ad is shown to a household within a single day. On Vibe, this setting is only available for awareness campaigns.

You can adjust frequency capping in your campaign strategy page, under the Bidding module, in the Advanced options.

Available frequency capping options

Vibe provides five frequency capping choices:

  • 1 per day

  • 3 per day

  • 5 per day (default)

  • 7 per day

  • 10 per day

Each option sets the maximum number of times an ad can be displayed to a household in one day.

👉 Note: A lower frequency cap may limit delivery. Make sure your targeting is broad enough to maintain solid delivery. The Delivery Estimates panel on the right side of your campaign dashboard will show you how changes may affect reach.

Recommendations for awareness campaigns

For branding and awareness campaigns, we recommend a frequency cap of 5 ads per household per day.

This balance ensures that your audience sees your brand often enough to build awareness, without overwhelming them with too much repetition.

Important note on performance campaigns

Performance and retargeting campaigns on Vibe do not use manual frequency capping. Instead, delivery and repetition are automatically optimized by our algorithm to maximize results.
